The base 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan will cost $46,025 when it goes on sale this fall. That’s a $6,035 increase from the current model’s $39,990 price after shipping charges. For 2014, the CTS sedan is seeing a major overhaul, with a longer, leaner body and a new optional twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 420 hp.

Perhaps BMW wants to grab a slice of the top-end convertible action next Spring, or maybe they just fancied turning normal model launch convention on its head by launching the soft-top first. But whatever BMW’s reasoning the fact is that we will get the 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible in March, probably six months before the 6-Series Coupe arrives. While not labeling it a recall, Ford Motor Co. said Thursday that it will update the software of the regenerative braking system on some already-delivered 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrids and Mercury Milan Hybrids. An Associated Press report said a total of 17,600 Fusion and Milan hybrids will be updated.
